Osa Safari Office / Hotel
More than 12 years leading once in life experiences with people from all over the world we learned something… NATURE IS UNPREDICTABLE!
Officially the whale season in Costa Rica starts in august and finishes in November where we take our people not only to see these unbelievable swimming mammals but more to learn about their natural history, behavior and habitat.
Humbackwhale is by far the most commonly spotted whale during the migrating phenomenon but the Golfo dulce receives pilot whales and false Orcas during season as well.
From a safe distance for us (and of course for the whales too) we will be able to admire this breathtaking gigantic animals. Dolphins, turtles, manta rays and a great number of birds are commonly seen in this tours.
A member of our team will meet with you or call you at your hotel the day before your tour to explain the dynamics of the tour, what you should bring and answer the questions that you might have. This short meeting or call is usually in your hotel at 6:00 pm
When you have booked the hotel, let us know. Also please let us know if you want information for accommodation in Jimenez or Drake bay
There is a management plan that protects the wildlife that inhabit the Corcovado National Park. Through a scientific study it was determined that a certain number of people can visit the national park every day. If you want to visit any park guard station in the Corcovado National Park, let us know as soon as you can so we will gladly book your space in the park.
