MATA PALO BIOLOGICAL CORRIDOR
Osa Safari Office
Connects the imposing and world-famous Corcovado National Park with 3 other protected areas.
OSA safari is part of the scientific research team that studies the efficiency of this corridor for the transit of the different species of animals that inhabit the area. Pumas, jaguars, tapirs and other mammals of great size depend on these biological corridors for their existence.
With us you can be part of the conservation efforts of these important sections of forest.
MATAPALO BIOLOGICAL CORRIDOR SAFARI / ATV TOUR
IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A NICE-AND-EASY EXPERIENCE IN TOUCH WITH NATURE THIS ADVENTURE IS PERFECT FOR YOU!
Few minutes after leaving Osasafari headquarters we will pass through grasslands where we will observe cattle, beautiful trees, spectacular landscapes and beaches until we reach this important biological corridor. Once there we will enjoy the wonderful wildlife that is in the area. Monkeys, scarlet macaws and many species of songbirds are usually spotted in this beautiful place. We arrive at the small Village of Matapalo where we leave the SAFARI / ATVS and after a short walk we will be at the imposing Matapalo waterfall. On the way back we will find some of the most desolated beaches to refresh ourselves.
A member of our team will meet with you or call you at your hotel the day before your tour to explain the dynamics of the tour, what you should bring and answer the questions that you might have. This short meeting or call is usually in your hotel at 6:00 pm
When you have booked the hotel, let us know. Also please let us know if you want information for accommodation in Jimenez or Drake bay
There is a management plan that protects the wildlife that inhabit the Corcovado National Park. Through a scientific study it was determined that a certain number of people can visit the national park every day. If you want to visit any park guard station in the Corcovado National Park, let us know as soon as you can so we will gladly book your space in the park.
