The most traditional Corcovado tour. In this adventure we will have more time to explore the trails of the Sirena station this is challenging option for adventurers who enjoy hiking long distances in the forest.

Day 1. We leave the town of Puerto Jimenez heading to the town of Carate (the last town before the Corcovado National Park) to get there we must cross the beautiful biological corridor of Matapalo which is home of healthy populations of howler monkeys, spider monkeys and squirrel monkeys as well as white-faced monkeys. A large number of birds are observed in this beautiful area. Once in the limits of the park, we take the Corcovado trail and head to La Leona ranger station, which shelters one of the largest populations of scarlet macaws in Costa Rica. Monkeys, anteaters and even sloths are seen in this beautiful station. We take a short break at the station and venture into the forest towards the SIRENA biological station. 16 km of route where we cross the rainforest, streams and beaches to reach our goal. Sirena parks guard station. We rest in the afternoon and enjoyed our dinner in the heart of the rainforest.

Day 2. Early morning we take a birdwalk. After breakfast we take a short walk around the station to watch birds. We dedicate our day to explore the trails of this station to admire the wonderful flora of the surroundings and unique fauna that lives here. A large number of birds, coatis, monkeys, sloths, the emblematic tapir and even the impressive puma are seen roaming the Sirena trails.

Day 3. After the adventure that we have lived in Sirena we have to leave this beautiful place. With a camera full of beautiful photos and our hearts full of unforgettable memories.
