PIEDRAS BLANCAS FULL-DAY
It is located west of the city of Golfito, northwest of the Inter-American Highway. It is bordered on the south by Golfo Dulce. It is bordered to the east by the Golfito National Wildlife Refuge and to the west by the Golfo Dulce Forest Reserve and the Térraba-Sierpe Wetland.
Nowadays it has a territorial extension of 14,750 terrestrial hectares and 1,200 marine hectares This land was part of the Corcovado National Park, but due to its size and geographic location it became a National Park, so that it would be better protected by the National Park System.

The majestic and unexplored Piedras Blancas National Park protects around of 16 thousand hectares of jungle and marine area, hundreds of these literally get under waters twice a day with the tide changes. Coordinating with the tides our experienced captain and nature guides will take you to explore the southern side of this unexplored national park and one of the largest patch of mangrove in the region as well… ESQUINAS RIVER MANGROVE. Navigating by the southern border of the park and then up the Esquinas river (the largest river coming in the Golfo Dulce) we will see the amazing and totally adapted vegetation that survives around there and all the amazing fauna which co-exist with it.
Crocodiles, dolphins, turtles, monkeys, coatis, scarlet macaws, toucans and many species of song birds are commonly spotted in our adventures.
